Police routinely fail to put their names into a database [USA Today 4/23] “In five states alone, law enforcement failed to provide information to the FBI about at least 2.5 million outstanding arrest warrants… Among them are tens of thousands of people wanted for violent offenses and other felonies.”
In the article they don’t even total up the number of felons free to purchase weapons. So much for the “instant background check”. Plus, not only do they not STOP purchases, they don’t prosecute felons who TRY to purchase. That’s right, just the act of a felon trying to buy a weapon is something they could be arrested for, and lazy and incompetent law enforcement won’t do that either.
But, they do keep coming after your gun.
