Dr. Ben Carson is to be the keynote speaker at a Family Leader fundraiser this fall. It will be on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Tickets go on sale September 10 at http://www.TheFamilyLeader.com . “Celebrate the Family” will be held at  Holiday Inn Airport Convention Center, 6111 Fleur Dr., Des Moines, IA 50321 (tentative). This is an evening event.

At a Polk County Republican Party dinner in August, Carson received 62 % (?) of the 261 votes cast in a straw poll at the event.

  1. Millie says:

Dr. Carson has leadership skills, intelligence, integrity, and common sense solutions for our nations’s problems. If you’d like to see Dr. Carson on the presidential ballot in 2016, please sign the petition here: http://bit.ly/V0MUUJ We are trying to reach one million signatures by the end of the year!

  2. Dr. Carson would make a tremendously strong and wise president, very Reaganesque. This country desperately needs a figure who understands the problems facing us (which are to a great degree existential) , can communicate with anyone respectfully, and who has an exceptional ability to not only see solutions to problems, but is able to reduce complex issues down to a level that the less informed can grasp easily, so that everyone would know what they’re getting when he unveiled a policy. He is no politician, has enormous courage and strength of character, and is not easily swayed from his principles, unlike many politicians. I pray after the midterms we will hear an announcement.
