The Des Moines Register today was saying Hillary Clinton doesn’t have an “Iowa problem” in her run for president. The hell she don’t. She lost Iowa in 2008 to a nobody. Why? She strikes men as a bitter shrew with cankles who reminds them of their ex-wife. Who the hell is going to vote for that? Women loved Bill. Men don’t love Hillary. Women love Hillary because she doesn’t threaten them like Sarah Palin does.
And why does the mainstream media keep saying Obama isn’t going to “take action” on immigration before the midterms? He’s not going to change “immigration” policy period. He’s going to give amnesty to illegals. Tell the truth for once media.
As the administration gets ready to further arm another group of bloodthirsty lunatics in the Middle East, one question begs asking to the American public: “Are you safer now from terrorism than you were 30 years ago?” As a talking head on PBS pointed out several weeks ago, if we’ve been pursuing the same policy roughly for the past 30 years regarding how to stop Islamic nutcases from killing us, shouldn’t we assess how that’s working out? Just as a little recap, in 2001 Al-Qaeda was in Afghanistan. 1 country. Now it, or insurgencies like it, are in Nigeria, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and the Philippines. 9 countries (and Al-Qaeda’s top priority right now is to infiltrate India, that makes 10).
If we’ve spent trillions of dollars and killed hundreds of thousands of people and the policy was working, wouldn’t we be better off? Wouldn’t we be safer?
To the untrained eye, it looks like the “war on terrorism” has made things worse. It’s a good thing we aren’t ruled by idiots, or we would be in a world of trouble. Idiots would have bankrupted us borrowing money from the Chinese, so are boys could go die in the sand, to make Arabs free, so they hate us even more and want to kill us. Now we are arming a new group, to kill the ones we armed last year. Oh wait, that’s exactly what Grassley, Harkin and Obama did! At least it’s good that 2 of those 3 morons are retiring. I don’t know how much more of that type of ‘genius’ our country can take. How about it Grassley, you’ve been in office at one level or another for 55 years since 1959. Is America better or worse in 2014?
