Archbishop Amel Shimoun Nona who had to flee the genocide in Mosul

The archbishop warned:

Please, try to understand us. Your liberal and democratic principles are worth nothing here. You must consider again our reality in the Middle East, because you are welcoming in your countries an ever growing number of Muslims. Also you are in danger. You must take strong and courageous decisions, even at the cost of contradicting your principles. You think all men are equal, but that is not true: Islam does not say that all men are equal. Your values are not their values. If you do not understand this soon enough, you will become the victims of the enemy you have welcomed in your home.

  1. Maria M. says:

I cannot believe those words from the same man who speaks on this video. Decide for yourself. It seems like two entirely different people. And the video is from 2015 while he lives in Northern Iraq, while this interview supposedly happened before, in 2014, when he supposedly ‘had to flee’. I don’t believe His Excellency Amel Shimoun Nona said the words in this report or that interview.

  2. Iowa Life says:

Really? Suggesting that a Christian wouldn’t have to flee Mosul, seems impossibly asinine and contrary to all evidence. Unless of course he had a death wish.

  3. Neil says:

He is my First Cousin. He tried his best and still trying.
